John Morehouse was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin and now resides in Orlando, Florida.
He started his martial arts training with Taekwondo as a youngster, before progressing to Mixed Martial Arts when he turned 18.
On relocating to Florida eight years ago he felt himself drawn more to the striking arts and so focused his efforts there.
Morehouse earned a reputation for being willing to fight anybody at any given time, while also pushing the pace of his fights and ensuring that a finish for one of the participants was likely.
The tactic hasn’t done wonders for his professional record but it has made him a very watchable fighter and that has benefitted his career: bookings have always been plentiful, because Morehouse comes to bang.
“I don't pick my fights. I won't back down and I will accept anything I am offered,” he says.
“Organizations like to use me because they know they can rely on me to show up and fight no matter what. I feel like most guys don't have the ability to say that.
“It might not be the smartest way, but it got me to where I'm at, signed to GLORY!
