Two of the heaviest hitters in the sport are on deck for GLORY 67 ORLANDO.

Bout agreements are in place for Jahfarr Wilnis (32-11-1, 8 KO’s), a two-time Heavyweight Contender Tournament finalist, to meet D’Angelo Marshall (19-4, 11 KO’s), who has scored three of his five GLORY wins inside the distance.

The two are former training partners and have sparred full-contact numerous times, but This will be the first time they have encountered each other in a professional fight setting.

Marshall, ranked #4, goes into the fight off the back of a stoppage win over Daniel Skvor at GLORY 64 earlier this year, while Wilnis is returning for the first time since a loss to Benjamin Adegbuyi in the semi-finals of the GLORY 62 eight-man heavyweight tournament in December.

Ranked #3 in the heavyweight division, Wilnis is 2-2 in his last four GLORY fights. That run includes a win over Jamal Ben Saddik, currently ranked #1 in the contender lists.

Wilnis is 2-0 over Ben Saddik in GLORY, having also beaten him at GLORY 2 back in 2012, and has made clear his intention to chase a third fight with ‘The Goliath’ if that’s what it takes to secure a title shot.

GLORY 67 ORLANDO takes place Friday, July 5 at the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee, Orlando Metropolitan Area, Florida.

The main event sees Petchpanomrung make his second journey to the USA this year to make a defense of his world featherweight championship.
