All fighters successfully made weight Friday morning ahead of GLORY 85 at the Rotterdam Ahoy arena on Saturday night, April 29.

The GLORY welterweight title fight was made official as champion Endy Semeleer (33-1, 17 KO) and challenger Murthel Groenhart (69-25-3, 40 KO) both made championship weight. Semeleer will look to firmly establish his position atop the welterweight division while Groenhart is aiming to make a triumphant return to kickboxing and reclaim the title.

All four participants in the heavyweight tournament combined tipped the scale at a whopping 472.9 kg/1,042 lb. Turkey’s Murat Aygün (33-2, 8 KO), Bosnia’s Enver Sljivar (40-6, 23 KO), the Netherlands’ Jahfarr Wilnis (33-13-1, 8 KO), and Nigeria’s Tariq ‘Cookie’ Osaro (22-2-1, 10 KO) will all compete for a chance to fight Antonio Plazibat for the interim-GLORY heavyweight title this summer and for a coveted spot in the history GLORY Heavyweight Grand Prix this December.

Elsewhere on the card, explosive veteran Michael Duut (44-13, 21 KO) welcomes Mohamed Amine (28-4, 16 KO) and top prospects Berjan Peposhi (27-2, 16 KO) and Jan Kaffa (18-3, 7 KO) clash.

In the free YouTube prelims, heavyweights Fabio Kwasi (45-7, 22 KO) and Nikola Filipovic (9-2, 6 KO) meet in an alternate bout for the heavyweight tournament while Maksymilian Bratkowicz (11-3, 3 KO) faces familiar foe Brice Kombou (17-3, 1 KO) for a third time to settle their score.
