Emily Hilton joins the GLORY Girls

Dubai will witness the unveiling of a brand-new Hilton on Friday, April 3 as international model Emily Hilton becomes the newest GLORY Girl to join the team.

GLORY 20 DUBAI will mark the British’s model’s debut for the organization, although she is no stranger to fight sports.

“I used to date a boxer and regularly enjoyed watching his fights, I was always ringside cheering him on,” she says. “I am quite new to kickboxing but I am really excited to be working with GLORY because I love big knockouts.”

In fact she’s even given some thought to how she would enter the ring as a GLORY kickboxer herself. (“I would be dressed head to toe in gold.”)

The flight to Dubai will take over eight hours from London but Hilton is well used to putting in the airtime for her modeling work. “I love traveling. The longer the flight the better - it allows you to take some time out, watch movies and read books, which I usually don't have time to do,” she laughs.

As much as Hilton, who has a degree in fashion, enjoys her work and the jet-setting which goes with it, she advises aspiring models that it is not a life of ease.

“Don't put all your eggs in one basket - modeling is very competitive and it certainly isn’t all glitz and glamour. You must have the ability to cope with criticism and rejection. The industry will test your strength, it’s not for everybody, so have a back-up plan.”

On the iPod:

Hozier - Take Me To Church (“I am obsessed with this song.”)

The Black Keys - Howlin’ For You (“My favorite band ever!”)

GLORY 20 DUBAI takes place Friday, April 3 at the Dubai World Trade Center, United Arab Emirates, and airs in the US on Spike TV at 10pm ET, 9pm CT.

Robin van Roosmalen defends the World Lightweight Championship against Andy Ristie in the headline slot, while in the co-main event the World Featherweight Championship will go on the line for the first time as Gabriel Varga of Canada and Mosab Amrani of Morocco contest the vacant belt.

Centerpiece of the card is a four-man Middleweight Contender Tournament which will see Wayne Barrett, Simon Marcus, Alex Pereira and Jason Wilnis battle it out for the chance to challenge Artem ‘The Lion’ Levin for his World Middleweight Champion.
