Máximo Suárez

Suarez comes from the Spanish island of Gran Canaria and holds a reputation for being a crowd-pleaser thanks to his entertaining and aggressive fighting style.

He himself says his key strength is the “intensity of my combat” and his aerobic capacity: with a solid gas tank, the fight doesn't slow down if Suarez doesn't want it to slow down. 

Young as he is, Suarez is already married and has a daughter. He is a dedicated family man and his family are close-knit. “They are essential for me: my wife, my daughter, my mother, my brothers, my father. They give me the final push in every workout,” he says.

“The most important thing I can say about my family is that we are a team, we are always together; through thick and thin.”

On fighting for GLORY he remarks that “since childhood I have dreamed of fighting in the best international event and that event is GLORY. This is the elite. I want to return the favor to GLORY by giving a real show for the fans.”
