About OlehAbout Oleh

Ukraine has been a steady producer of world-class kickboxing talent. Two Ukrainians have won GLORY world titles (Serhiy Adamchuk at featherweight, Pavel Zhuravlev at light-heavyweight) and now Oleh Pryimachov has entered the heavyweight division in search of bringing a third title to his homeland.

Fighting out of the ancient city of Poltava - which recently celebrated its 1,000 year anniversary - Pryimachov brings solid credentials to his campaign. In particular, he has performed strongly on the IFMA circuit.

IFMA - International Federation of Muay Thai Amateurs - is the world’s leading organization when it comes to amateur Muay Thai competition. IFMA’s stated aim is to gain Olympic recognition for amateur Muay Thai and have it become part of the Olympic Games.

Numerous GLORY fighters past and present have passed through the IFMA circuit, including current light-heavyweight champion Artem Vakhitov and 18-year-old Houston, Texas prospect Bekah Irwin.

As such, the IFMA circuit attracts and produces some of the best talent on the planet. Winning one of IFMA’s annual world tournaments is a huge statement for a fighter: the competition is intense and the skill level is very high.

Pryimachov has won three. He was IFMA World Tournament Champion in 2016, 2018 and 2019 at heavyweight and in 2017 he won his weight category in the ‘IFMA World Games 2017’.Â
