About Rising SunAbout Rising SunÂ
A veteran of organizations such as Its Showtime, K-1 and RISE, Hinata has proven to be one of the brighter talents of the Japanese lightweight division.  His strong kicking game has caused problems for a lot of opponents and has played a key part in his wins over the likes of Mike Zambidis and Arthur Kyshenko. Watch out for his heavy left-leg strikes to the body.  Having taken on the best his homeland can offer, Hinata now wants to prove that he was what it takes to hang with the elite international competition in GLORY.  Early in 2013 Hinata won the lightweight championship in REBELS, one of the leading organizations in Japan’s domestic kickboxing scene, a solid foundation for his step up into the GLORY ranks.  Hinata hails from Shonan, a coastal region famous in Japan for the 'Shodan lifestyle' of sun, beaches and beautiful women. Surfing and shopping are popular pastimes here but Hinata has no time for them. Instead he's fully focused on making his mark in the international lightweight ranks.Â
