Serhii Adamchuk

Serhiy Adamchuk was born and raised in Krivoi Rog (‘Crooked Horn’) , an industrial metropolis in the very heart of Ukraine. The city was founded in 1775 by the Cossacks, a semi-nomadic people famed for their hardiness and their fierceness in battle.

The city’s warrior tradition is distilled in Adamchuk. From a young age he trained in martial arts such as kickboxing, Muay Thai and the native Russian mixed martial art system of Sambo. He started competing early and found success, leading him to turn professional as soon as he could. 

Initially Adamchuk competed both in MMA and kickboxing but he began to focus on the latter and in recent years has been based in Amsterdam, training at the famous Mike’s Gym under Mike Passenier, coach to such legendary names as Badr Hari and Melvin Manhoef. 

Adamchuk is a savage low-kick specialist and it is his best weapon. He has stopped numerous opponents with it and has heavily damaged others. Look out for it as he fights his way through the GLORY featherweight division.
