JOE VALTELLINI'S 3 REASONS TO WATCH GLORY 92 ON BALLY LIVE

  • News
  • May 17, 2024

GLORY 92 goes down this Saturday, May 18, live from the RTM Stage in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and it is one of the most exciting cards of the year.

Fans in the United States and Canada can watch all the action on Bally Live and Stadium from 9:30am PT | 12:30pm ET.

Long reigning middleweight champion Donovan Wisse (20-1, 10 KO) puts his title on the line against the in-form number one contender Ulric Bokeme (32-4, 17 KO) in the main event of the evening.

After his Grand Prix heroics, the number one ranked heavyweight Levi Rigters (17-2, 8 KO) returns to action to take on dangerous late notice replacement Nico Pereira Horta (22-8, 3 KO) in the co-main event.

Former GLORY champion, Hall of Famer, and kickboxing legend ‘Bazooka’ Joe Valtellini shares his three reasons why North American fans should tune in to Bally Live to watch GLORY 92.

Reason 1: Ahmad Chikh Mousa (59-9-1, 28 KO) vs. Berjan Peposhi (28-4, 16 KO)

Their first fight was GLORY 2023’s ‘Fight of the Year’ and I expect this one to be equally as exciting. Here we have two young and hungry fighters who always put it all on the line. They stand in the pocket and exchange with so much ferocity and venom.

Both fighters have improved from their first bout last February but have still maintained their fearless fighting styles. We could see another ‘Fight of the Year’ contender at least in this one.

Reason 2: Jay Overmeer (29-6, 15 KO) vs. Teodor Hristov (16-3, 7 KO)

I cannot pick who will walk away with the victory in this one, and that is why I like it so much. Both fighters are like mirror versions of the other with their unorthodox fighting styles and switching of stances.

Overmeer is consistently good and one of the best welterweights on the planet. Hristov is only 23 years old and is potentially the future of the division.

Reason 3: Michael Boapeah (16-4-1, 7 KO) vs. Serkan Ozcaglayan (45-9, 36 KO)

This is pure fireworks. A local rivalry with both fighters coming from the same town in the Netherlands. There are bragging rights on the line.

Both fighters are known for their pressure. Ozcaglayan is more dangerous early on and capable of landing fight ending shots while Boapeah is relentless with his pace and bringing his opponent into deep waters.
