Croatian superstar Antonio Plazibat (23-5, 16 KO) will face Belgian Moroccan Anis Bouzid (49-5, 37 KO) at GLORY COLLISION 9 on June 13 from the Rotterdam Ahoy in the Netherlands.
Plazibat made an emphatic return to action in December after being on the sidelines for two-and-a-half-years due to injury. The 32-year-old did not look like he missed a beat as he dismantled Nordine Mahieddine over three rounds.
Now he faces the man known as ‘Takamura’. Bouzid won GLORY’s ‘Breakout Fighter of the Year’ for 2025 thanks to his victories in the GLORY ring, including a 30 second knockout victory over Nathan Cook.
With Plazibat ranked #3 in the GLORY heavyweight rankings and Bouzid ranked #4, this contest not only pits together two of the division’s most dangerous punchers but also has potentially major title implications.
“My goal is the GLORY heavyweight title and Anis Bouzid is just another fighter in my way,” stated Antonio Plazibat. “At COLLISION 9, I make a statement that Antonio Plazibat is the most dangerous heavyweight in GLORY.”
As already announced, GLORY heavyweight world champion Mory Kromah (37-3-1, 21 KO) will defend his title against Serbian sensation Milos Cvjeticanin (19-5, 10 KO) at GLORY COLLISION 9 on June 13.
In addition, the unpredictable and always exciting Bahram Rajabzadeh (73-6, 55 KO) was this week announced as the first entrant into the eight-man one-night Grand Prix to crown the new GLORY light heavyweight world champion. The other seven entrants will be revealed over the coming weeks.
COLLISION 9 is set to be the biggest & unmissable event of the summer and tickets are now on sale through GLORYKickboxing.com.
