COLLISION 7 Officially the Second Biggest Event in GLORY History
- Official Release
- Nov 28, 2024
GLORY, the worldâs largest kickboxing organisation, can confirm that the upcoming GLORY COLLISION 7, which takes place December 7, is now officially the second biggest event in company history, already surpassing the total gate for COLLISION 3: Verhoeven vs. Ben Saddik earlier this week.
With an expected attendance exceeding over 20,000 fans at the GelreDome football stadium in Arnhem, the Netherlands, COLLISION 7 is only second to COLLISION 2 in 2019 which featured the rematch between Rico Verhoeven and Badr Hari. Now âThe King of Kickboxingâ Rico Verhoeven is back to headline his fifth COLLISION event and welcomes the challenge of number one contender Levi Rigters.
The success of COLLISION 7 follows sold-out events in October & August, returns to both Belgium & Croatia, continued growth into the French market, as well as the reintroduction of the GLORY Grand Prix in 2024.
âI am thrilled to end a fantastic year breaking records,â said Marshall Zelaznik, GLORY CEO. âThis shows the appetite for kickboxing is stronger than ever and solidifies the COLLISION event series as the biggest in kickboxing. It has been a fantastic year with multiple sold-out events, returning to countries such as Belgium & Croatia, and a huge influx of incredible new talent discovered. This gives us incredible momentum heading into 2025.â
Launched in 2016, the COLLISION series is the tentpole event on the kickboxing calendar & one of the biggest in all of combat sports and has been headlined by marquee names such as Rico Verhoeven, Badr Hari, and Alistair Overeem.
COLLISION 7 will be available to watch live exclusively on Videoland in the Netherlands, DAZN in France & Belgium, and for free on Bally Live & Stadium across the United States & Canada. For full global broadcast listings, please visit GLORYKickboxing.com.
