GLORY COLLISION 9 took place Saturday night, June 13, from the sold out and electric Rotterdam Ahoy in the Netherlands. Almost 12,000 fans witnessed one of the most spectacular events in GLORY history.

‘The Black Ghost’ Mory Kromah (38-3-1, 22 KO) retained his GLORY heavyweight world championship with an incredible flying knee knockout victory over Serbia’s Milos Cvjetićanin (19-6, 10 KO) in the third round. It was the 26-year-old’s first title defense as he clearly positions himself as the new ‘King of Kickboxing.’

Mohamed Touchassie (23-3, 14 KO) made GLORY history by becoming the youngest light heavyweight world champion in the promotion’s history. The 24-year-old outlasted seven other fighters to win the one-night grand prix and claim the vacant title. In the final he defeated Donovan Wisse (25-3, 10 KO) in what was a thrilling battle and fitting tournament final.

Croatian superstar Antonio Plazibat (24-5, 17 KO) reminded everyone of his power with a thumping fourth round KO win over Anis Bouzid (49-6, 37 KO). The fight was razor thin and needed an extra round to settle things. Plazibat stepped up the pressure and caught Bouzid with a series of punches, sending him to the canvas. Afterwards, Plazibat and Kromah came face-to-face at the post-fight press conference to confirm their fight later in the year.
