GLORY returns with another unmissable event with GLORY 109 taking place this Saturday, September 5 from the RTM Stage in Rotterdam, the Netherlands and will be an influential event in shaping the remainder of the year in GLORY.
GLORY double champ Chico Kwasi (46-6-2, 23 KO) will defend his GLORY welterweight world championship in the main event in a trilogy fight against top Bulgarian Teodor Hristov (20-5, 8 KO).
A gigantic heavyweight clash takes place as former interim heavyweight champion Tariq ‘Cookie’ Osaro (31-5-1, 17 KO) collides with the legend Errol ‘The Bonecrusher’ Zimmerman (112-21-1, 45 KO).
Also happening at GLORY 109 are the Welterweight Proving Grounds. Several match-ups will take place where fighters aim to impress in order to put their names forward for the GLORY welterweight eight-man grand prix at the end of the year.
Some of the key match-ups include; a bad blooded affair between heavy hitter Figuereido Landman (15-2, 12 KO) and rival Mohammed Boutasaa (21-3, 5 KO), social star Don Sno (7-3, 30 KO) takes on the returning Jay Overmeer (31-9, 16 KO), Croatia’s Antonio Krajinovic (4-1, 2 KO) meets Italian viral sensation Michael Samperi (37-3, 19 KO), KO machine Dmitry Menshikov (33-3, 24 KO) goes up against the in-form Diaguely Camara (29-6-1, 15 KO), and House of GLORY winner Anwar Ouled-Chaib (5-1) faces veteran Christian Baya (60-9-1, 35 KO).
