GLORY, the world's largest kickboxing organization, and video-on-demand service Viaplay have come to terms on a media partnership in Poland.
It’s a multi-year partnership which includes all GLORY fights. This means that kickboxing fans in Poland can now live stream all GLORY events on the platform, starting with GLORY 81 in Düsseldorf on Saturday, August 20th.
GLORY 81 features eight bouts, headlined by a heavyweight clash between Jamal Ben Saddik and Benjamin Adegbuyi.
“Poland is an important market for us, so we’re really looking forward to working together with Viaplay to grow the sport of kickboxing in the region,” said Jon Martone, Executive Vice President of Marketing and Digital at GLORY. “Martial arts are a major aspect of the sporting culture in Poland, and we’re confident that this partnership with Viaplay will bring our sport to new heights.”
Peter Nørrelund, NENT Group Chief Sports Officer: ”GLORY kickboxing is a fantastic addition to Viaplay’s sports rights in Poland. We’re thrilled to be able to offer their exciting and entertaining events to our subscribers. GLORY has many of the highest-level fighters in the sport on their roster and the quality is unquestionably world class. We look very much forward to working with GLORY, beginning with GLORY 81, August 20th on Viaplay”.
