GROUP A PREVIEW : MILOS AND THE GIANTS

GLORY 100 will be a two-day blockbuster event with back-to-back fight cards, showcasing the absolute best of kickboxing, taking place Friday, June 13 and Saturday, June 14 live from the Rotterdam Ahoy in the Netherlands. During GLORY 99, the four four-man one-night tournaments were confirmed. Amongst them is Group A, featuring three of the biggest participants in the entire Last Heavyweight Standing. In the middle of the giants stands Milos Cvjeticanin (12-3, 8 KO) who impressed in April, defeating Nabil Kachab by overcoming a 60 kilos deficit.

The Serbian will take on another big task at GLORY 100 in Tomas Mozny (22-10, 7 KO). The Giant Slovak is a fitting nickname for the 33-year old who stands at over 2 meters tall and will have an enormous physical advantage over Milos. Mozny earnt his spot at GLORY 100 by defeating the controversial Sina Karimian (16-5, 8 KO) via unanimous decision.

It will be another test of endurance and resilience for Milos Cvjeticanin who had to dig deep against Nabil Kachab in order to emerge victorious. One thing we know for sure about The Serbian is that he will not back down from a fight and putting relentless pressure on Mozny might just be the way to win this fight. The Slovakian has both the size and the experience on his side and he will need them to avoid a tricky battle against Milos.

On the other side of the bracket, friends become foes as former teammates Colin George (24-12, 22 KO) and Nico Horta (24-10, 4 KO) are set for an epic battle at GLORY 100. The two-men have known each other for many years, sharing training sessions but for the very first time, they will meet in the center of the ring at GLORY 100.

Big Sexy is on the rise after defeating Rade Opacic in a big upset at GLORY 99. A KO win that shocked the masses and served as a brutal reminder of how dangerous the heavyweight division truly is. With momentum behind him, he is looking at GLORY 100 as an opportunity to solidify his status and punch his ticket to the finals.

However, defeating Colin George will not be an easy task. The Beast is a physical monster, and he looked better than ever against Miroslav Vujovic. With 92% of Colin’s wins coming by finish, Horta’s chin is sure to be tested on June 14th. The Cape Verdean has never been knocked out in his kickboxing career, and his incredible pressure has been an issue for many opponents.

Both semi-final winners will meet each other one the same evening. The winner of Group A will punch his ticket for the Last Heavyweight Standing Final. An 8-men Grand Prix that will crown The Baddest Heavyweight on earth.
