JAMAL FACES UKU AT GLORY 98

It was announced earlier this week that fan favourite Jamal Ben Saddik (36-9, 29 KO) would make his much-anticipated return to the ring at an upcoming GLORY event early next year. 

Now it is confirmed that he will face power puncher Uku Jurjendal (20-9, 16 KO) at GLORY 98 on February 22 at the RTM Stage in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

It has been almost two and a half years since Ben Saddik was last in action. The 34-year-old is a former heavyweight title contender with career wins over Guto Inocente, Junior Tafa, Errol Zimmerman, Remy Bonjasky, and Rico Verhoeven.

He now goes up against the number eight ranked Uku Jurjendal on his return. The Estonian slugger joined GLORY in 2023 and has made a big impact since his arrival thanks to several knockout finishes. None more earth shattering than his demolition of the legendary Badr Hari at GLORY 89.

Jurjendal now has his chance to score another victory over a legend of kickboxing while Ben Saddik aims to make a triumphant return and put the whole GLORY heavyweight division on notice.

Fireworks are guaranteed when these two behemoths clash and the RTM Stage will be electric as Ben Saddik’s legion of fans welcome ‘The Goliath’ back to the GLORY ring. 

GLORY 98 will be the first event on the GLORY 2025 calendar and promises to kick-off the new year in style as more thrilling fights will be added in the coming days.
