Rico Verhoeven to Headline GLORY 100

GLORY, the world’s largest kickboxing organisation, will reach a huge milestone this summer as GLORY 100 will take place June 14 in the Netherlands. 

It was confirmed yesterday that this event will be headlined by ‘The King of Kickboxing’ Rico Verhoeven (65-10, 21 KO) as he is set to defend his GLORY heavyweight world title for an incredible thirteenth time. 

No venue or opponent has been announced just yet, but the champion has teased that this will be one of his toughest challenges to date. 

“You cannot have GLORY 100 without the King of Kickboxing,” stated Verhoeven. "This is a huge achievement for GLORY and I am excited to be the main event. My opponent will be announced very soon but trust me he's not to be underestimated. He mirrors many of my own strengths, making him one of the most formidable challengers I've faced. As announced yesterday, GLORY 99: Last Heavyweight Standing on April 5 and GLORY 100 on June 14 will both be exclusively on DAZN in the Netherlands, the United States and many other regions across the world in a new broadcast deal.
