Levi Rigters (21-4, 11 KO) will take on the returning Antonio Plazibat (22-5, 16 KO) in the main event of GLORY COLLISION 8 at the GelreDome soccer stadium in Arnhem, the Netherlands, on December 13.
It has been almost two and half years since Plazibat was last in action. The 31-year-old Croatian heavyweight star has been recovering from an arm injury since and is now finally ready to step back into the GLORY ring.Â
Originally the pair were scheduled to fight in the main event of GLORY 95 in Zagreb last September, however, injury prevented Plazibat from being able to step into the ring that night.Â
Since then, Rigters went on to challenge Rico Verhoeven for the heavyweight title and has had highlight reel KO’s this year, including a spinning back kick KO win over Jamal Ben Saddik this summer.Â
The contest between Plazibat and Rigters is for an official wildcard spot in the Last Heavyweight Standing tournament finale set for early 2026.Â
The Last Heavyweight Standing Final will see eight of the world’s best heavyweights compete in an eight-man one-night tournament – the winner will be crowned the baddest heavyweight on the planet.Â
