In a late change to the GLORY 61 NEW YORK event line-up, the middleweight bout between Ivan Galaz and Joe Taylor has been removed from the card and will be rescheduled for a later date. Galaz, fighting out of Chile, has competed in the USA previously but was not able to obtain a US embassy interview in time for his visa to be processed for this event. The removal of the bout means that the welterweight bout between Charles Rodriguez and Malik Watson-Smith has been moved up from the Preliminary Card to the Superfight Series card. Rodriguez is undefeated as a professional and four of his weight wins have come inside the distance. Watson-Smith is more experienced at 59-24 with 36 wins by KO, but comes into the bout off the back of a loss to Richard Abraham in his GLORY 50 CHICAGO debut. GLORY 61 NEW YORK takes place tomorrow, Friday, November 2 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhattan, New York City. The Superfight Series card streams live on UFC Fight Pass at 7.30 PM ET and the main card airs live on ESPN3 at 9.30pm ET
