Rotterdam, NL – May 6: GLORY is pleased to announce the addition of two massive GLORY world title bouts to the already stacked Day 2 of GLORY 100 on Saturday, June 14 at the Rotterdam Ahoy in the Netherlands.Â
Two more of the greatest & most dominant champions in the history of GLORY will join the other all-time great current & former champs who are already set to compete at this historic milestone event.Â
GLORY middleweight world champion Donovan Wisse (22-0-1, 10) rematches Michael Boapeah (21-4-1, 9 KO) and GLORY featherweight world champion Petch (173-40-3, 27 KO) rematches the explosive Miguel Trindade (62-7, 26 KO).Â
Wisse is one of the most dominant champions in GLORY middleweight history and is joint with Alex Pereira for the most title defenses in the division. Now he has his opportunity to cementing his legacy and move past Pereira when he takes on familiar foe Michael Boepeah. The duo first met at COLLISON 6 where it was Wisse who walked away with the decision victory. Since this loss, Boapeah has blasted his way throw five straight wins to earn his rematch against Wisse.Â
2024 was arguably the best year of Petch’s career with a record setting eighth GLORY title defense and being crowned the GLORY x RISE featherweight grand prix champion. Now ‘The Professor’ looks to continue building on his legacy when he goes up against Miguel Trindade, the man he narrowly beat in the grand prix final. The Portuguese KO artist will be looking to end Petch’s reign and with this bout being over five rounds, there will be no doubt left behind.Â
Headlining GLORY 100 Day Two is the highly anticipated clash between the ‘King of Kickboxing’ Rico Verhoeven (65-10, 21 KO) as he puts his GLORY world heavyweight title on the line against the returning Artem Vakhitov (22-6, 8 KO), the most successful light heavyweight champion in GLORY history.Â
In addition, the second phase of GLORY’s Last Heavyweight Standing takes place, where two four-man one-night tournaments, which include the likes of ‘Big Sexy’, Colin George, Milos Cvjeticanin, Ionut Iancu & more, will decide who moves onto the grand final in December.Â
GLORY 100 Day One and Day Two will takes place June 13 & 14, respectively, live from the Rotterdam Ahoy in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.Â
