Bahram Rajabzadeh Returns at GLORY 105: Last Heavyweight Standing Finals

‘The Golden Wolf’ Bahram Rajabzadeh (72-6, 64 KO) is officially returning from retirement and will face 'The Gladiator' Christian Ristea (44-27, 13 KO) in the co-main event of GLORY 105: Last Heavyweight Standing Finals on February 7 at the GelreDome in Arnhem, the Netherlands.

The 34-year-old abruptly retired following his ‘Fight of the Year’ contender against Tarik Khbabez for the GLORY light heavyweight world title at GLORY 104 in October. However, after hearing an overwhelming fan support to return to the ring, Rajabzadeh is happy to lace the gloves again and comes into 2026 with renewed passion and big plans.

These plans include intended pushes for belts in the GLORY heavyweight and light heavyweight divisions and will begin to be put into motion on February 7 when he takes on a very game Christian Ristea at heavyweight.

Ristea was last seen in action in the GLORY ring last August where he took on Mory Kromah in a back-and-forth battle before getting stopped in the second round. Aptly named ‘The Gladiator’, the Romanian slugger is known for meeting his opponent in the middle of the ring with a “kill or be killed” attitude.

This fight joins the Last Heavyweight Standing tournament finale, an eight-man one-night tournament to decide the new GLORY heavyweight world champion. Antonio Plazibat (22-5, 16 KO) and ‘The Black Ghost’ Mory Kromah (35-3-1, 21 KO) will collide in their quarter-final and the winner will move on to fight the winner of Nico Horta (26-11, 4 KO) versus Tariq Osaro (29-4-1, 16 KO) in the semi-finals.

On the other side of the bracket, Anis Bouzid (48-4, 37 KO) drew the legendary Errol Zimmerman (112-20-1, 45 KO) and the winner will move onto the semi-finals and will face the victor between Serbia’s Milos Cvjeticanin (17-5, 10 KO) and France’s Sofian Laidouni (42-5-1, 20 KO).
