Free Fight: Zougarry and Ozkul go to war in Fight of the Year contender

Zacharia Zougarry and Yetkin Ozkul made two of the most spectacular debuts any new fighters have made in GLORY when they met at GLORY 41 HOLLAND back in May.

The two featherweights put on a dynamic display of trickery, showmanship and non-stop action over the course of three rounds. Zougarry walked away with the decision win but both of them walked away with a legion of new fans.

It is a certainty that the fight will feature in the ‘Fight of the Year’ nominations when 2017 closes out. In the meantime, Zougarry returns to action later this month for a fight at GLORY 45 HOLLAND on Saturday, September 30.

There, he will face Massaro Glunder, who made an impressive debut of his own when he stepped in on 48 hours notice to stop Niclas Larsen in the GLORY 42 PARIS Lightweight Contender Tournament.
