GLORY 2025 AWARDS

2025 was the year of the Last Heavyweight Standing tournament, which culminates on February 7 at GLORY 105 from the GelreDome, Arnhem. 

It was a year that provided unpredictability, excitement, huge upsets, jaw dropping knockouts, and career defining moments that will go down in kickboxing history. 

Here are the GLORY 2025 Award Winners.

Fighter of the Year: Milos Cvjeticanin 

With an incredible eight fights, three tournaments entered across two divisions, and two first round KO victories in 2025, Serbia’s Milos Cvjeticanin earned the title of GLORY’s ‘2025 Fighter of the Year’.

KO of the Year: Mory Kromah 

‘The Black Ghost’ Mory Kromah’s flying knee knockout victory over Bahram Rajabzadeh at GLORY 100 went viral across the globe and caught the attention of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Snoop Dogg, and Anthony Joshua.

Comeback of the Year: Antonio Plazibat

After suffering a near career ending injury in 2023, Croatian star Antonio Plazibat did not look like he missed a beat as he dazzled and entertained his way to an incredible one-sided victory over longtime rival Nordine Mahieddine at COLLISION 8.

Upset of the Year: Nico Horta def. Rade Opacic

Nico ‘Big Sexy’ Horta shocked the world by knocking out then top five ranked Rade Opacic at GLORY 99 with of the most destructive right hands you will ever see. This victory saw Horta, who was a relative unknown just months prior, shoot up the world rankings and become a fan favourite.

Breakout Fighter of the Year: Anis Bouzid

An arm injury in his GLORY debut in 2024 left Anis Bouzid with something to prove upon his eventual return to the world’s biggest stage. He came back with a vengeance in 2025 scoring the fastest KO of the year and racking off three straight victories

Fight of the Year: Tariq Khbabez vs. Bahram Rajabzadeh

Tarik Khbabez and Bahram Rajabzadeh delivered an all-time classic when they collided at GLORY 104. It was a fight filled with drama and emotions as the pair went back and forth for five full rounds, putting one of the most memorable title fights in GLORY history.
