GLORY super-bantamweight champion Anissa Meksen will be paying close attention to next weekâs GLORY 65 UTRECHT contest between Sofia âThe Wolfâ Olofsson (48-8, 21 KOâs) and Christi Brereton (20-6-1, 5 KOâs).  It was officially confirmed by GLORY today that the winner of the fight will be the next fighter to challenge Meksen for her belt.  Swedenâs Olofsson rode a 26-fight win streak into GLORY and proved her championship pedigree by taking former champion Tiffany van Soest the distance and narrowly losing a split-decision.  A five-time IFMA gold medallist, Olofsson also counts WMC World and European titles among her list of achievements.  Brereton dominated her GLORY debut, winning a unanimous decision at GLORY 54 and extending her win streak to 4-0. A WBC Muay Thai world champion, she is ranked #1 at her weight in her native Britain.  When Brereton joined GLORY she said that a fight with Meksen was a target and that she had been chasing a fight with the Frenchwoman for some time prior to Meksen joining GLORY.  Olofsson and Brereton will open the âSuperfight Seriesâ section of GLORY 65 UTRECHT this coming Friday, May 17. The event streams live worldwide on UFC FIGHT PASS and airs live on VERONICA in the Netherlands.
