Fresh off the back of an impressive debut win at GLORY 49 ROTTERDAM this past December, Omar Moreno travels to Chicago next month looking for his next victory.  Standing opposite him at GLORY 50 CHICAGO will be Los Angeles, California welterweight Casey âGoâ Greene, a seven-fight veteran of the organization.  Greene is a former middleweight. He went 2-0 in his first two fights after dropping to welterweight but then suffered back to back losses to go 2-2 in his last four GLORY fights.  This fight with Moreno is thus a must-win for Greene as he looks to re-establish his claim to tenure in the division. A loss to Moreno would be a significant setback in that regard.  Moreno came into GLORY 49 as an unknown even to many on the busy Netherlands kickboxing circuit, as he trains and fights out of one of the countries lesser-known teams.  But he had a good showing against Chinaâs Anying Wang on the way to winning a clear unanimous decision, earning himself another call-up from GLORY matchmakers.  Interestingly, despite being resident in the Netherlands, Moreno was actually born in Chicago, to a father who had been born in Barcelona, Spain. Moreno thus enjoys dual nationality and can live and work in both the USA and the EU.  Following his GLORY 49 win, Moreno called for the matchmakers to put him on the Chicago card because âall my friends and family will be there!â He got his wish - now he has to get the win.  GLORY 50 CHICAGO takes place Friday, February 16 at the UIC Pavilion, Chicago.  The SuperFight Series section of the card streams live and exclusively on UFC FIGHT PASS at 8:30 p.m. ET / 5:30 p.m PT.
