The Chinese newcomer was due to face Mo Abdurahman in a reserve fight for the Featherweight Contender Tournament, until Abdurahman was moved up to the tournament starting grid following an injury to Matt Embree.
GLORY veteran Justin Houghton stepped up to take the slot but then withdrew earlier this week, leaving the way open for Terrance Hill to enter the fray. Hill, 30, is a veteran US kickboxer with several high-level bouts to his name. His best win is a decision victory over former GLORY featherweight champion Gabriel Varga.
Fighting out of Queens, New York, Hill will open the GLORY Superfight Series 43 card at Madison Square Garden in downtown New York, aiming to score a big win and secure himself a regular spot on the roster.
GLORY 43 NEW YORK takes place Friday, July 14 at The Theater at Madison Square Garden and airs live on UFC FIGHT PASS and ESPN.
