Kevin Vannostrand completely overwhelmed the debuting David Moore. It was apparent almost from the opening bell that Moore was outmatched by Vannonstrand, who had him on the back foot immediately and kept him there for the duration.
Moore's gameplan quickly devolved into running backwards under Vannostrand's forward pressure. Vannonstrand caught hold of him whenever he could and hammered knees into the body and head while Moore frantically tried to free himself.
Towards the end of the first round Moore was not only running backwards but often turning his back completely. An onslaught against the ropes caused the referee to step in and deliver the first count of the fight.
Things were the same in the second round. Moore winged a big right hand at one point, hitting thin air with his sole token gesture of offense during the bout. Vannostrand jumped right back on him and started hammering him with punches and knees again. Moore was clearly not going to get into the fight in any way, so the referee stepped in and waved the fight off 35 seconds into the second frame, a TKO win for Vannostrand.
Vannonstrand now rises to 3-1 in GLORY and 13-1, 10 KO's overall. He will take a step up in competition for his next fight in the organization while Moore – on the card via the local promoter in New Jersey - falls to 6-2 and will never be seen in the GLORY ring again.
