Video: Simon Marcus vows to get back on the win streak at GLORY 34

Former middleweight champion Simon "The One" Marcus lost the belt to Jason Wilnis four weeks ago at GLORY 33 NEW JERSEY. Now he's straight back in the mix and looking to redeem himself as he rematches Dustin Jacoby at GLORY 34 DENVER on Friday night.

The fight is the co-main event of GLORY 34 DENVER, which airs live on ESPN 3 from 9pm PT and re-airs Sunday night on ESPN 2. They first fought at GLORY 30 LOS ANGELES earlier this year with Marcus dominating much of the action and winning a unanimous decision.

But in his next fight, at GLORY 33 NEW JERSEY, he lost to Jason Wilnis by way of TKO, losing the middleweight title in the process. That fight was just a month ago, but Marcus is not about taking time on the sidelines.

“An individual like myself, I don't lose very often. When I do lose I take that as inspiration to become better as a fighter. I use it as fuel for training, fuel for life,” he says.

“I love to fight, especially coming off a loss, the first thing I want to do is get back in the ring and get back on the winning streak. I don't want to sit and wallow, I want to get back in the ring and do what I do best.”
