Former lightweight champion Robin Van Roosmalen is dropping to featherweight for the first time in his professional career for Friday night's fight with Gabriel Varga in the headline bout of GLORY 34 SUPERFIGHT SERIES, which airs live on UFC FIGHT PASS.
Varga is the GLORY featherweight champion and the belt is on the line in this fight, which means that if Van Roosmalen is victorious he will become the first fight in GLORY history to have captured belts in two different weight classes.
The key to victory? Van Roosmalen believes it to be “pace and pressure” - he thinks Varga will fold under his trademark relentless onslaught and either lose by decision or open himself up to be finished.
