Dustin Jacoby has “unfinished business” with Simon Marcus

“It felt great just to get in there. I was extremely eager to get back in the ring, I felt like a dog on a leash all week,” says Dustin Jacoby of his first-round, three-knockdown win over Sean Price at GLORY 44 CHICAGO.   “My goal was to win in dominant fashion and thats what I did. I don't even remember the knockdowns to be honest with you - I remember the flying knee, I remember I zinged him with a pretty good straight right, but I will have to go back and watch it.”   The fight marked his first action following a ten-month layoff due to a broken left forearm sustained in his GLORY 34 fight with Simon Marcus late last year.   “I don't think there was any ring rust! I felt right at home in there, I’ve been with GLORY a long time, that was my 18th fight. I zinged my [left fore]arm up a little bit so I need to get that checked out and then hopefully everything is good to go and I can get back to acton soon as possible,” he says.    “Much respect to Simon Marcus but definitely we have some unfinished business. I want to be champion in this weight class. I know I am one of the best in the world and I think I proved that by winning the way I did, so give me some time - maybe a fight or two more - and I am coming for that title.”
