Richard Abraham bested Daniel Morales over three rounds at GLORY 44 CHICAGO to get back in the win column and get his title shot campaign back on track.
The Chicago-based welterweight dominated all three rounds of the fight and came out of it with little damage. He says he is ready to get back to action as soon as there is a slot available.
“I am ready to go right now. I am a fighter I live this I love what I do. I will never turn down a fight, whoever it is, I am open, so as soon as Glory wants me to fight just give me a call,” he said in his post-fight interview.
Abraham also recalled an amusing moment from early on in the fight.
“We had some playful banter in the first round. He said to me. ‘Lets see who takes the first step back’ but I knew he was trying to make me fight his fight. The goal with any fight is to always fight your fight and so I took a step back and he smiled and I said, ‘We are doing this my way.”
