In the first of two thrilling championship bouts announced for GLORY 55 New York, undisputed featherweight king Robin "Poker Face" van Roosmalen (40-7, 21 KO, fighting out of the Netherlands) takes on 22-year-old challenger "The Professor" Petchpanomrung Kiatmookao (159-36-2, 27 KO, fighting out of Thailand).
Plus, GLORY middleweight champion Alex 'Po Atan' Pereira (27-6, 17 KO, fighting out of Brazil) meets No. 1 contender Yousri Belgaroui (24-4, 12 KO, fighting out of the Netherlands) once again with GLORY gold on the line.
After taking a bite of the Big Apple, GLORY travels to the Mile High City for the return of light heavyweight champion Artem Vakhitov (19-5, 8 KO, fighting out of Russia), who defends his title at GLORY 56 Denver from 1STBANK Center on Friday, Aug. 10.
"Killer Kid" Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong (120-30-5, 32 KO, fighting out of Thailand) looks to extend his lightweight title reign when GLORY touches down for the first time in Shenzhen, China on Saturday, Aug. 25.
Fans inside Shenzhen Bay Sports Center, site of GLORY 57 Shenzhen, will also witness a one-night qualification tournament, featuring eight of China's top lightweights all competing for a spot in the GLORY rankings.
Then, GLORY breezes into the Windy City on Saturday, Sept. 15 with heavyweight action, as Benjamin "Mister Gentleman" Adegbuyi (30-5, 18 KO, fighting out of Romania) puts his No. 1 ranking on the line against former title challenger Jamal âThe Goliathâ Ben Saddik (31-7, 25 KO, fighting out of the Netherlands).
GLORY 58 Chicago will also feature Illinois-product and local favorite Richard "Maximus" Abraham (13-5, 4 KO, fighting out of the United States), who fights at the familiar Sears Centre Arena for a fourth time under the GLORY banner.
