The official GLORY World Series rankings have been updated this week to reflect the changes made by some new arrivals.

Gokhan Saki’s move to light-heavyweight is now official. He drops from heavyweight, where he held the #2 ranking spot, to enter the light-heavyweight rankings in the same position.

Saki (79-16, 56 KO’s) arrives at #2 in the light-heavyweight division with 1286 points, just behind Tyrone Spong (90-5, 60 KO’s) at #1.

Saki’s debut at his new weight will come at GLORY 15 ISTANBUL on Saturday, April 12 at the Ulker Arena in Istanbul, Turkey, when he takes part in the four-man Light-Heavyweight Championship Tournament.

Also joining the light-heavyweight ranks is Romanian standout Andrei Stoica (31-4, 21 KO’s). His high-flying attacks and heavy hands have made him a mainstream star in his homeland, now he sets out to prove his worth on the world stage.

Stoica enters the rankings at #5 with 720 points. He will take part in a tournament reserve match at GLORY 15 ISTANBUL, facing #3-ranked Danyo Ilunga (54-5, 41 KO’s).

The legendary heavyweight Mirko ‘CroCop’ Filipovic (22-7, 12 KO’s) will headline GLORY 14 ZAGREB, his debut for the organization, in a fight against Remy Bonjasky (98-12, 36 KO’s).

Filipovic is one of the most famous fighters in martial arts. The PRIDE FC, UFC and K-1 veteran enters the rankings at #9 with 369 points. Bonjasky is ranked #10.

Also joining the heavyweight ranks is Benjamin Adegbuyi (15-2, 11 KO’s), a countryman and training partner of Stoica’s.

The Romanian heavyweight has enjoyed success on the European circuit and has been invited to test himself in the GLORY World Series. He enters the rankings at #11 with 347 points.

Two of Thailand’s top talents are also now part of the GLORY fold.

‘The Hitman’ Aikpracha (89-18-5, 53 KO’s) brings his hard-hitting, forward-pressure style to the lightweight division. He enters the ranks at #9 with 300 points and will debut at GLORY 14 ZAGREB against Albert Kraus (73-17-3, 43 KO’s).

Sitmonchai (82-20-1, 51 KO’s) is one of the hottest properties in Muay Thai at present, a highly-decorated champion at the peak of his powers. He enters the featherweight rankings at #7 with 481 points and will debut at GLORY 15 ISTANBUL.

GLORY’s next event takes place in Zagreb, Croatia on Saturday, March 8. GLORY 14 ZAGREB features a four-man Middleweight Contender Tournament, with the winner earning a spot in the Middleweight World Championship Tournament later this year.

The show will air in over 150 nations around the world, including a USA broadcast to 98 million homes via SPIKE TV.
